USA New Setup.

Got the system installed while I am waiting for the parts from my accident to get here.

Alpine M650 Class D Mono Block Amp. - Paid $288.10 Brand New (side mount on box)
Kicker CVR12 Sub - paid $50 for, lightly used. Wired in 2 ohm mode for max power (This is an older version, but the cone is made of a nylon woven material, that is EXTREMELY DURABLE)

It sounds great. (Its just for bass, I listen to alot of dance and house music)

That is a Scosche 12 Sealed Box, that I am going to port with a single 5inch hole on the top, The box, JUST meets the ported guidelines at 1.75. (I already have the port tube insert too)

I have some aftermarket Pioneer 6,5's to go in the rear deck when I stop being lazy.

Front of the box.

Side of the box.

Top of the box, where I am going to drill 2 5inch holes with a hole saw bit.

i wouldnt keep that amp mounted on the box.. vibrations can do a lot of damage to the amp's components.... and in your video i sure hope your gain and bass boost arent that high.. if they are, you wont have that amp and sub for very long

I only had them on that high for the test. The system is built for bass, but after that video was done, I turned them back down.

also for security reasons, you probably want the amp separate. If someone steals your box, they win hands down as your good sound system just went out the window!

yep the vibrations would probably kill the internal components, not to mention the wiring or connections...maybe vibrate the connections so much that they go loose!

Unless you added braces in the box for Amp support the vibrations are going to kill that amps life cycle as already mentioned. Plus portability means its a one stop shop for thieves. I would mount the amp in the trunk as opposed to the box.

usually most people mount it on the back of the rear seats and ground it to one of the bolts which is conveniently located towards the bottom of the seat

except when I want to adjust it, I will have to completely remove the back rest of my seat to adjust it...

if you tune it properly the first time, you wont need to do any adjusting
