Actually, they have a new tool designed just to break those club devices. It grips both ends of the club and then has a rod that screws in the middle that ends up snapping the club like a twig.

hire a hobo, give him a shot gun and a 10 bucks a week. that will solve your problem.

It's all about deterance. If they really want it, and they're pros, fort knox won't protect it. Clubs are great for ending joy ride BSer's, but the pros crack em in seconds. Alarms are nice, but noone pays attention to them anymore, so they only really annoy thieves until they bypass the siren. Getting 'pro' installs just means the thieves know where to hack the system to override it (cause they all do it the same way...lazy bastards).

Boomerang with a decent alarm however, that is my personal preference (have to get those in when the car is running again). There are a couple of old fashioned tricks for switches and such that you can use to cut fuel, spark, critical sensors or other that the driver knows are there, but a thief doesn't have time to hunt for if you hide them smartly.

I know they will get it if they want, but if they don't know they are being tracked (just don't get the boomerang stickers and such...real pros can defeat that too, so best to leave it unannounced that one is present)...at least I'll likely get it back with little more than the theft damage, and hopefully get to laugh at the bitch sitting in a cell.

All in all, multiple layers of protection is the best way to do it, as a thief doesn't want to spend much time there. Every minute is another closer to being caught. They often move to an easier target.

Master locks are uncrackable. Maybe get one of those things those parking cops have, You know? the huge thing that they put on ur wheel so you cant move at all? You could also get one of those new sequrity systems where fireblows all around your car if someone trys to get in.
