Not sure why you want two more 6x9s back there, but what car do you have? Do you have enough room to cut out behind the headrests? Personally, I'd just do it the easy way of buying speaker cabinets and cut out a hole and then buy some brackets to hold them up.

it would be pretty difficult since the back panel is covering metal which doesn't give 2 more 6x9 holes

You want 6x9s for highs? That's like an oxymoron. Why don't you try custom mounting some 3.5" in the dash?

Or instead of purchasing more speakers upgrade what you have. Perhaps an amp would help your speakers get the sound you are looking for. Or maybe you would want to upgrade your front speakers. You can't just expect to add two more speakers and run all 6 full range speakers off your head unit. You're going to fry the head unit or your speakers won't receive enough power and your whole system will sound like crap.

I already changed everything, I have pioneer 3 way 6.5 in the doors and I already have pioneer 4 way 6x9, in the back panel. I want to add an extra pair of 6x9s to the back panel then run the 4 speakers on a 4 channel amp..and have the 6.5s running of the cd player...

That's gonna be a bit much and your front speakers are going to sound stupid with the rears amped and the front is going to be what you'll focus on. Amp the four speakers you have now before adding speakers. See how it sounds then. Adding another set of 6x9s in the rear isn't going to help your sound quality all. What Pioneer speakers are you running now?

Amp the four speakers you have now, then add some tweeters if you want high's. run the tweeters off the unused head unit channels.

but if you really want to add another set of 6x9's to the back, be perpaired to do some massive ghetto rigging. youll need to 2 holes large enough for the speaker magnet and the basket if there is enough room, if not youll need some risers. or you could buy some 6x9 speaker boxs and mount those back there, but any way you do it it will probably turn out ghetto

I guess i see what yall are saying but how can i run the speaker wire from the front doors to the amp. I already bought the extra pair of 6x9s already ( model#6970) guess i'll sell them. If i run the 6.5 and 6x9 off the amp i can then put 4 tweeters in place of the unused channels..

I still can't see why you want a rear fill with two pairs of 6x9s (which imo, are the "worst" speaker size) as they will greatly overpower your front stage regardless of imaging. Personally, I'd say just get a solid pair of 6.5"s for your rear fill, get a great set of components up front, and subs in your trunk to cover the lower end of the frequency spectrum. More speakers in your back is totally going to screw up sound imaging and when the sound actually gets to your ears in the driver seat, there will be massive cancellation and will sound utterly craptastic.

But hey, if you want to, go right ahead. Nobody is going to stop you, but be warned, if you're an SQ guy even in the slightest bit, you're going to be VERY VERY dissapointed.

^^

Tweeters aren't going to do anything unless they are properly installed in the right place to give the best sound imaging.

Leave the midbass speakers at the feet level and point the tweeters towards the listener...
