subsolutions
I just put one of these in my Tacoma. Best small subs I've ever seen or heard.
I got the TSSS, drive it with an alpine M-220. Sounds awesome. Not a headache maker like the pair of 10"s in my jetta but the clarity is top notch. And I can still seat two in the back. Some of the other designs would be almost unnoticed in the trunk

a sealed enclosure will always sound better than free air subs...but u have to give up trunk space to house the sub box....i will never ever use a sub box again....need the space...i will sacrifice sound quality for trunk space any day.....

It sounds like your comparing an enclosure to a type of subwoofer. I am going to guess that you meant to compare a sealed system to an infinite baffle system which is quite a statement and one I'm not sure I can entirely agree with.

I happen to believe that an infinite baffle system(free air) can reproduce accurate bass as well as any other ordered systems, assuming proper installation and choice of subs. I, myself am considering an infinite baffle set-up. Money, of course, is my deciding factor.

I have a question, MRQturbo. Are all of your 10's and 8's running sub-bass? If they are, why did you choose a variety of sizes versus say a single large woofer or two running in stereo? Also, how are they arrayed?

Thanks in advance.
