hardest hitting DVC?

Theres the new MTX 9500 which hits super hard. Cant forget about the W7 and the L7's....and then there's the ID Max, comes with a 3.5" linear excurstion.

does linear excursion mean how far out the cone(surround) moves when it is hitting its notes?

pretty much the max length that the cone of the speaker can move forward and back.

i've always like audiobahns stuff, actually i was telling my friend to get the Qflame series instead of the CW...but one thing ive actually noticed is the true rms... u can have all the rms listed on ur sub, but most of the time its not true...the CW was 400rms, and it was hitting like an L7, and the L7 is around 900-1000rms, im not sure...but u get my point right?

what i wanted to ask was, the best cost effective sub u can buy...how much are the msrp of the L7's, aroudn 400$, compared to cw 150$...

I have boston Acoustic home speakers... they're more like a slightly lesser Harmon Kardon or Bang and Olsen. They sound great for home apps but I had to step up to a 300w 12" Polk Audio sub cause bA doesn't make anything powerfull enough.
