New Sub!!!!!

Yesterday I went to my audio video shop to check the status on my audiobahn 1208t's (still haven't reach yet ) But we were talking about setting up my custom video system(soon to come). Then he said because of me impressing so many wit the 1208t that he will only sell the excursion and no more flame Q

But let me get to the point. He just happens to mention a new sub 1200rms and suppose hit harder than the 1208t. It's called Blackhole. I laughed of course. Then he took it out the box. A 12" gorrilla lookin sub. Huge. Wit about damn a lot magnets or supports couldn't really look the sucka weighed like 40 pounds.

Has anyone seen or use these Blackholes? If so give some input I'm dying to hear these.

And 200 per sub?! That's quite a rip. Alum Q's don't even retail for that much anymore and can be had for about 150 ish if you know where to look.

For $400 total, around here, you can probably (though i'm not 100% sure) get a pair of JL W6v2s which will trump your Alum Q's. Sounds to me like you need to look to get bigger, better equipment...not just stuff to show off to your ignorant high school buddies who don't know anything about car audio.

Let the kid be....he's happy with his equipment and takes pride in it. I may not have the best stuff either but I take pride in it and talk highly of it. Or maybe he just hasnt heard those subs in real life. nothing to argue about.

Oh boy you guys stuff all suck i got the best

Listen really don't fight. We should rejoice at a new comp sub on the market by a underground company.
Alum Q aren't the hottest shit man. Believe me, I am an audiobahn nut case. If you really want some shit go excursion. And you if you really want top line Immortal. I was gonna the Immortal series which is new. The 12" sub is I believe 1800-2000rms. Can't really remember exact figure. If I had those. Oh my gosh. Man they hit. But those are for suv's. Can't pump those in a camry. I bust the glass for sure.

Takebao be easy. Oibone didn't do to bad on the sub cause a W7 is twice that and don't match the power.

I don't mean to be like this but I hate to see this arguing on the threads lately..... In every frigin forum. People are getting out of hand. Just jumpin on each other for nothing. Can't we all just get along.

if you're still lookin around, look at the RE subs (XXX), and some JL's, they're all pretty nice. Audiobahn's shouldn't be too bad tho.

A guy at my local shop has an Audiobahn competition setup in his Denali. He has 3 sets of Audiobahn Q components and 4 Alum 12s with each only getting 200RMS. You should see his trophy wall...

That said, he claims to have never had a single customer come back with a faulty Audiobahn Alum sub, even his which he butchers on a daily basis (only 200RMS). They're not bad subs for the money. Is there better out there? Of course, but bang for the buck they're definately not bad.
