I'm sure this has been answered somewhere, but I couldn't find it...
Anyway, those of you with gen3 Camrys, how much dynamat did you use in your trunk, where did you place it (spare tire well, over the spare, sides, trunk lid, rear deck, etc.), and what grade did you use (original or extreme)? And how satisfied are you? Pics would be very helpful....
I'm about to order some, probably Xtreme (Original on the floor), and want to know the most effective areas to place it. If you want to see my current stereo setup, check out my sig. I plan to place it on the rear deck, trunk lid, floor (over the spare), and sides. I calculate about

Yeah, "The Wolf" has a good question, cuz i too have a Gen 3 Camry and was thinking about the same thing, were you gonna do it yourself Wolf? or take it to a professional installer? Dynamat cost a hella lot $100+
I was planning to do it myself.... an installer would charge like $40+ an hour. If you check on ebay, you can find the xtreme bulk pack, 36 square feet (I think), for less than $100 shipped. Or try http://www.onlinecarstereo.com, they usually have good prices. I might just go for the trunk kit ($65 ebay), which has 12 of original and 8 xtreme and buy extra as I need it.

I got it in my trunk...i used the extreme shit. Works pretty good as far the vibrations and sound quality. I put it along the sides in the trunk, spare tire slot, around my speakers, and behind the centertail piece.
if you're really planning on hard hitting bass, then put the dynomat everywhere in the trunk. I put dynomat on the actual trunk that opens, and every once in awhile it still rattles.
As i re-do my subs, i'm gonna dynomat the entire trunk. Remember that you can also put a second layer on top of the first one for more resistance so there is no sound distortion. It'll get quite expensive if you decide to do a second layer though. Hope what I said helps and if anything I said is wrong, then feel free to correct me as I'm not a professional at this.

Werd! Rick Callum's RAAMat is great stuff. If you get a roll, it's more than enuff to do the entire trunk, trunk lid and rear deck.

Tru. The trunk lid really needs to be sound deadened. I also matted my rear speaker deck...that flimsy particle board vibrates like a mofo! Another trick is to adjust your trunk latch so that when you close the trunk it's nice and snug and pulled down as tight as possible. Alos, if your weather strips are old and worn, you might wanna replace those too.
After that, have fun trying to stop your bumper skin and license plate from rattling
As far as the spray goes, it is offered by dynamat and im sure there are other, but you have to get it even and between 2-5mm of thickness. As far as the dynamat is concerned you can try this website, and ask there, i use it alot. http://www.caraudio.com/vb/
