HELP pioneer 4-ways...worth the money?

ok i was gonna upgrade my speakers to some 6 1/2 pioneers up front and some 6x9's in back and wondered if its worth it to get the 4-ways over the 3-ways? or is the diffrence not noticable enough to buy the 4-ways?

alot of people say that the 4-ways are not worth it and that the 3-ways are good enough. I personally got 4-way all the way around in the car and am satisfied beyond what i thought it would be like.

It's very clear to hear the different pitches when they change, but it's really up to you as both are pretty good.

I wouldnt spend the extra money for a 4 way, just find a good 2-way or the pioneer 3 way should be just fine (as long as it has all the same materials/type of drivers)

ya. i found pioneers that were identical, its just they made it in two options, 3 and 4 ways. knowing me and my budget i'll stick to the 3s, which are still a major improvement over stock.

Some of the stock speakers now days are really good. I am quite impressed by the Lexus "premium" speakers, and I heard the Mark Levinson stereo (17 speakers or something) are phenomenal.

2 way speakers are more than enough. you won't see the full benefits of a good set of speakers unless you get it an AMP
