Alpine Type-S or Type-R Speakers???

I have an Alpine CDA-117 HU and a type-R sub.. which I will hopefully be getting an mrp-1000 to power it, instead of my current amp.. anywho!

I'm trying to figure out which speakers I should buy.. the Type-S or Type-R?? I will be amping these speakers with a 4 channel amp.. Is it really worth the extra 100$ a pair to get the type r's? I'm looking for good sound quality, that won't suffer when I turn up the volume. any experience with the two speakers?

Thankyou!!

No experience with either, is there no authorized dealer in your area? That way you could check em out. Whats the difference on the rms rating? different material used for the woofer or tweets? You could always got with JL or boston. I have JL everything but i would have gone with boston for my component set if i could do it again. Hope this helps a bit.
