15 inch subs

my four year old brother damaged the both of my 15 inch subs i paid about 150 dollars for the two should i go to a speaker reconing store to repair these subs or is it just better to move on and buy new ones would reconing these speakers make them sound good as new?

but would re coning these subs make them play the same or would i never again achieve the orignal sound cause reconing them is cheaper than buying new ones and i love these subs

I reconed my home speakers and they do not sound the same. I would imagine it is the same for car speakers. But then again, my home speakers were 15 years old at the time.

It would cost you the same to recone than to replace, and since they're kenwood subs~replace! and invest in some grilles!!!
