Ok I finally got my subs. Audiobahn aw12s i think. Gotta look at the numbers again. But anyways, they are 2000rms. Pretty big sub. So after ooooing and ahhhing I take it out the box. NOw this shit has 4 voice coils. What the hell I am supposed to do with that? What is the benefit? Anybody? Oh yeah I still wired it as a DVC(Dual voice coil)

Oibone is right... also better for hooking up 2 channels/amp to the same voicecoil or something. A lot of their models are like that.

Did you get the immortals, cause that is the only sub that can handle 2000 watts rms.

No it's and older series I believe from the year before. Immortal is new for 2004. Audiobahn actually has a lot more powerful subs not listed on their website. Immortal is just top of the line for 12and 15 inch series subs.

Eddie you were right. It is immortal. When I got the sub it didn't look like the flashy new ones. So i assumed it was a different series. But it turns out the sub looks like the old but have the power rating of the new. But even the old was called immortal also. But it had a different power rating. It even has the immortal series model number. Damn that was confusing. Only thing different with mine is the db rating is higher than the 2003 model. Weird shit. May have to contact them about that.
