5 farad is a large amount. I was looking to buy one myself, but many people on this board argue it's useless, so i didn't get one.

A cap isn't USELESS, it's just that most people nowadays have finally gotten around to the correct way of thinking- that caps simply mask the problems of your electrical system, eventually causing you to miss important problems. The order to go about fixing something like headlight dim is to upgrade to a better battery (optima yellow top) and a high output alternator and THEN do a cap when you still have headlight dim cus your bass hits at 3000W

Props on getting a cheap cap tho!
