94 MR2 Headunit

My g/f has a 94 MR2 and the stock headunit is going out. It won't play any cd's anymore and it's time to replace it. She would like to replace it with the same thing, so is it possible to get them new anymore? Or are there any new models from toyota is current cars that can be used?

Thanks!

I'm sure someone on the main board has one. If you post in the wanted section someone might have it. Or put an ad on http://xcars.com

And that's hoping that everything, especially the cd player works. It seems like it was the biggest problem with these decks, the cd player going out.

Yeah, i know that in mine the cd player is shot. I think you'd be better off buying a new head unit than taking the chance of an getting an original that's gonna fail on in soon anyway.
