I haven't worked on a Solara but I don't imagine it's much different from a Camry or any other toyota for that matter.

Do a search using keywords "rear + deck + remove". Sift through the posts and you should be fine.

Are you replacing the stock speakers?

IIRC, there's quite some work involved to get the rear deck out from the Solara. You'll need to remove the C-pillar panels to get the rear deck out which will also require the handle bars, bench seat, and rear armrests to be removed. The Camry had less work.

if the solara is anything like my 3.5 coupe, you just have to remove the rear bench seat by lifting it straight up and then removing the side cushions that are next to the side arm rests. Then remove the stop lamp and the rear deck slides out. Maybe a 20min prodject tops to get to the speakers. The only think that is a pain is getting the rear bench seat out of a coupe.
