91 Camry Stereo install problem

I picked up a new sony headunit for my 1991 camry. I bought the wiring harness convertor and matched up all the connections + checked them multiple times. When i connect the unit i get absolutely no power. Also when I connect the stock unit back into the car i get power but no sound from the speakers..
Anyone have any idea what my problem might be?

Thanks
J

no power, check your red(ign turn on), yellow (constant)and black (ground), make sure they are connected. Might be a stupid question but did you push the power button on the radio. Also check your fuse, just in case.
