I can't remember the colour wire to splice for the power wire, but I know it's the first wire on a big plug. Sorry man.

Anyway, I just use an exacto to slit the wire to expose the inside , and then I just take the other wire, split up the strands in half, and then wrap it around in opposite directions. I then tape it up with electrical tape and if I'm feeling rich, I'll use a ziptie to seal it up to keep the connection tight.

Learned my lesson on my lastcar,not more vampire tapping for me. Everyone blamed me for any electrical problem in that car. Troubleshooting sucked too.

Bring it to the fusebox behind your coin box. Lotsof power there.

Theres 2 wires on the guages. Red and black.

Red = power (+12V). Splice it to the parking light wire.

Black = ground.

Parking light wire = green wire on one of the plugs that goes into the back of the instrument cluster.
