i have a 93 corolla i was wondering if i could put some 6x9's in place of those 6 1/2's

i don't recommend it....u would have to get a bracket...or custom make a hole....and 6 1/2"s are clearer because of the perfect shape...so just stick with some 6 1/2"s

Hey, don't be hatin' on the 6x9's. That's what we used to rock back in the days. One of the first(circa 1982) systems in town was this Filipino cat who was bumpin' eight 6x9's on a sheet of plywood in the back of his Silver Nova.

then next came 8"! my friend ran 12 8" redlines in his mini truck, HiNRG never sounded so good.

I forgot about those things. In my part of town, everyone was rockin' Pyles, Beckers and Vega's. You haven't lived until you've heard Stevie B at 140 db's.
