Jammed up JBL CD changer, any easy fix?

I have a 2000 Camry XLE with the JBL 6 disc in dash cd player. Before I had the car a year it jammed up and I had it replaced, it just happened again and i'm out of warranty.

Is there any tricks I can do to try and get it unjammed??

I've fixed a few changers. Unfortunately not that particular one. Usally what happens is a cd pops out of place and causes the whole works to jam. I would offer to fix it for you, but I'm not in Kansas Toto.

However if you are brave you might pull the cover off of it and see what's going on in it. Whatever you do DO NOT FORCE anything unless you are willing to buy a new deck.

If you just want to replace it, check this site:
Toyota OEM Radios

By the way, I love to tear into things like this so if it is a lost cause get ahold of me.

Do you have any instructions on how to take the cd player out or if that's not necessary, the best way to take the player apart to get the CD out.

Thank you,

Kevin

You will have to take your deck out of the dash to help you here is a link to a PDF file on removing your deck:

Removing and installing radios from 1999 & 2000 Camrys
