86 Camry CD deck installation help

Hey, I just joined this forum because I just got a car ('86 Camry) and a new deck, since the radio that came with it didn't work. I'm cheap, so I wouldn't let Best Buy install it for me, but I'm running into some trouble....I don't have a harness, I can solder the wires myself, but the problem lies in which wires do what...I found the battery and ground wires, but can't figure out the ACC wire. One of the wires is supplying about 4.5v when it's in ACC mode, but connecting the deck's ACC wire to that does nothing. Right now, I have the power and ACC wires connected to the car's battery wire, and I just turn it off when I turn the car off. That worked fine until I cranked it up, and it would shut off in heavy parts of music, with a lot of bass, etc....and it also won't power on when I turn the car's lights on, which means no music when I'm driving at night....so I need a little help here, this is my first car, so I'm still learning stuff, any and all help would be appreciated, thanks!

If you bought the deck at bestbuy, have them install it for free for you, well, you will have to shell out 13 bucks for the mounting kit and 10 for the wire harness that you NEED anyways.

I would get the wiring harness. Makes things sooo much easier. Ive installed in about 10 cars, ranging from toyota to honda to lexus. From experience, the easiest thing is to get the wiring harness.
