Arrow need new head

i need a new headunit. my kenwood is dying and the sound quality is degrading significantly

what i'm lookin for is something w/ possibly 2 RCA outs and an Aux in or mp3 capability.

i was lookin at the pioneer 7600 but have been lookin at others because i heard pioneer is crap compared to alpine and some others(from some guys at other forums)

so i've been looking into pioneers, alpines and blaupunkts. I also have a local eclipse dealer but i havent had time to check it out yet. I'm just wondering what i should get for about 200...max 250ish.

i'm just wondering...out of those 4 brands, or any others, what would have the best sound quality and functionality as well as something that will last me for a while. i dont want to buy another head in a couple months or so.

thanks

I have an older Eclipse that's been in my car since i don't know when.... and I haven't had any problems with it. at least none related to the head unit. perfect fit in my camry, too.

The best brand is the Eclipse. You aren't gonna get a lot of features in an Eclipse for that price.
The next best brand is Alpine. You'll get a slightly better unit than the Pioneer, but the Pioneer will definately give you more features. Pioneer makes very good head units. They're reliablity is extremely high for such a mass produced company and they have good service. Whoever told you Pioneer is crap is a retard.
