Question Stock CD in 99-00 Toyotas, will it play CD-RW?

im going out to night and am driving our new 4Runner and need to make a good CD and i know CD-Rs will play in the player but not sure if CD-RWs will, i am at work right now and there is a supply store on campus near my work and they only have single CD-RWs ,
figuring that most CD players in and around that year toyota are the same, has anyone tried this????

in general, any cd player will be more likely to play cd-rw's than cd-rs. the bottom of the disc of a cd-rw is much more similar to a regular audio cd bought from stores, that a cd-r is.

My stock '99 3-in-1 (non-JBL) plays CD-R's but not CD-RW's. Same with my family's '01 RX300 6-disc changer, plays -R's but not -RW's.
