I know. Fortunately I have my whole interior gutted as well as the bottom part of the dash and glovebox. I'm almost done with matting the whole car in rammat and it's on to the ensolite foam. Now I need to find some 30 band parametric eq's. THe ID one ares expensive as shit. Do you think the Audiocontrol ones will be just as good?

Audio control makes nice EQ, have you thought of the Pioneer P9 combo, that is one of the best SQ decks in the market.

I have thought about that deck. Do you think that would make the 31 band eq's not neccesary? For my deck I'm pretty sure I'm getting the Eclipse avx2494 with the built in hard drive.

AudioControl EQT.

Good stuff, but their not cheap. About $330 retail and you need 2 of them.

Zapco has a dual 1/3 octave eq. I don't know if they still make it or not.

The Audiocontrol crossover/eq or very good. They are always recommended and they reproduce sound well. I'm sure ID makes good stuff but you cant go wrong with audiocontrol.

Nice score. Once you get those thing tuned you will never go back to conventional speakers again. The dynamics are scary.

I have the USD Audio horns in my set-up. My midbasses are on the floor in enclosures. Consider this set-up for your system.

If you get the Audiocontrol (which I will be getting soon enough), get the digital one so you can save all the maps. This way you can try out all sorts of settings until you get the one you want without having to have a photographic memory.

I think though, the supplied crossover should get you pretty good music as it stands. I believe the network contains some decent compensation, albeit, not optimized for your car.

Oh, and don't put more than 50 or so watts to the horns. They are EXTREMELY efficient.

Here ya go bro:
Image Dynamics IDQ31 MONO 31Band Equalizers (3)- Great Condition, like new. I have never used these but bought them used from rcurley on the board. Comes in Black Chrome like the Arc Audio amps. One of them is the master unit and the others connect onto it for power. No modifications done to Equalizers. Asking $175 each + shipping or $510 shipped for all.

Damn those just gave me goosebumps. And I do plan on getting the arc audio xxk amps. Eddie got a question for you. I plan on having the horns and midbasses up front. Do you think I should run any rear fill? I don't think I should with those components up front. And if I'm not going to have any rear fill than I only need one 31 band eq right? I'm pretty new to this high end stuff.

No, you need to eq each channel so you will need two. And you are doing horns so you will definitely need to eq them.

You wont be disappointed with Arc's I ran the 4150 and the 2500, they are clean as hell, but of course I went the Tru route
