two pairs 8ohms subs

i got four 4 ohm subs i wired two pairs to a 8 ohm now i have 2 cabinets at 8 ohm a piece how could i wire them to get a total of 4 ohm? again i wired two outta the four 4 ohm subs into a 8 ohm and i also did the same with the remaining two how could i wire both 8 ohm cabinets so the amp would see a 4 ohm load thanks im sorrie if it isnt to clear!! work with me though

What you just did was wire two pairs in series giving you a 8 ohm load each. All you have to do is wire those two boxes in parallel to each other ie: +to+ and -to- that will bring you back down to the 4 ohm load you're looking for.

Just wire the two 8 ohm loads in parallel that will give you a 4 ohm load now
