Please help choose deck.

I gotta get one in the morning, still have no clue what to get, the sale for the Pioneer 4500 finished and when i was going to go i had to go to Montreal with my dad so i missed the sale. Now I gotta get either the same 4500 for more money, or should I get something else, MAX price is 250 Canadian, I am looking at either Kenwood, Pioneer or Panasonic, which brand do you reccomend and why?

No one can pick out a deck for you except yourself, since it's very subjective. Since you know your budget, just listen to the sound quality of each deck within that price range. Don't decide by features alone. Just spend some time listening.

for $250 you can get away with a nice ALPINE just go with the best. Pioneers/kenwoods are just for looks with all those lights and screen savers, all useless. You can get an alpine cda7995 on ebay for around $230-250.

You're telling him to spend that much USD on a pre-amp deck only, whereas he only has that much in CDN to spend on one with built-in amp? READ more carefully next time.

I too would recommend an Alpine. I just ordered an Alpine after going to several stores and looking at Kenwoods, Pioneers, JVC's, etc.

I recommend either going to stores and looking for yourself or going to Crutchfield.com to figure out what you want. Then go to Bottomdollar.com to find the best price on what you want. In my case, Etronics.com was the best buy for me. I got an Alpine 9827 for around $215 USD including shipping.

Good luck.
