I was wondering if anyone has installed any consoles in their car? I have a chipped PS2 which I had paid $400 for (a year ago) and always thought about doing this. My main concern was I heard that most people end up frying their PS2 because of voltage problems. I'd like to know if anyone knows of this problem or something similar before I do end up installing it.
Yo dude i would try this if u dont wanna fry your ps2 if you can look around and find a cheap one i have 2 ps2's and im gonna use my old one ( it used to not read discs)......... yo look for someone with a ps2 that has Disk Read Errors or CannoT read Disk look for people with those problems and i can give you a website on how to fix it

Yes, someone told me that. But apparently they still had problems. I dont know how much of a risk I would be running doing all this, thats why I want to know if anyone has done this
honestly Ps2's dont last very long in a vehicle. The hard drive just cant take any serious bouncing around. I cant tell you how many we have put in customers cars to find out 3-4 months later they are dead. I find that XBOX's tend to last ALOT longer. And modding them is easier
