If I am going to run my mids highs and midbass all off the same amp, how should I wire it? the directed amp I am getting will put out 4 x 50 into 4ohms for the mids and highs, and 2 x 75 for the midbass. The Koda 8s are single voice coil and are 4 ohms. So I could either run them in stereo with 75 watts (they handle 150) or run them in series and them bridge the 5 and 6 chanels of the amp for 150 going to each. Any suggestions or imput would be greatly appriciated.
oh, and they will be installed into a custom fiberglass enclosure on/in the rear deck. they should have around .45 cubes each. Does anyone know the displacement for the koda 8's?

Bridged or stereo they will see 75 watts each, unless it can bridge down to a 2 ohm load, so I would say run em in stereo. Call adire, they will tell you on the phone.

I was thinking that if I ran the 8's in parallel I could get 'em down to 2 ohms and then still run them in stereo at full power, seems like the optimal solution.
also, eddie, can you explain what exactly the function of gain is in terms of actual output and SQ, I don't really think I get it

Not possible, your amp can not handle a 2ohm load bridged. You must run them in stereo, you should anyway.
