Truck Box Question

Probably been asked before... but search is giving me nothing.

A truck box has to sound worse than a car enclosure, because it's so much smaller, doesn't it?

and if it does, i was thinking about building something like a toolbox for the bed of the truck to put my subs in... if i did that, and layered the inside of the metal with MDF, would that cause extra vibration, or the metal screw up the speakers/amp? if so, is there any way i can get around it?

actually the smaller the cab the better, your only problem is your limited on size of subs.

Cool

Better way is to find the subs you would like to have, then find a forum like on cardomain's audio forum that will tell you what size box<es> are good.

usually at the manufactures website, a few suggestion for small box subs are Image Dynamics ID series, and Adire Koda Series.
