I think I need a FM booster for my 98 Camry - Toyota Nation Forum : Toyota Car and Truck Forums

My 98 Camry has the antena built into the back glass which I really like, however, the reception seems to suffer. I guess from the limited hight. I was thinking about trying to find a FM booster. I have looked at Radio Shack, Autozone, Advanced Auto.

Any suggestions besides Satelite Radio?(which I am thinking about subscribing for anyway)

Hmm... I actually think the radio reception in my '98 is actually pretty good compared to some other cars I've been in.

I do have friends who have sattelite radio, and they really enjoy it. I tend to think that the audio is only a little better than streaming audio over the internet, but I'm still tempted.

Don't get a FM booster, what they don't tell you is that they boost the noise also.
