Rattling in 92 Camry Rear Deck Panel

Now how can I put a stop to this. Its annoying. I put some rubber strips on the rear brake light cover and that help alot but the rear deck panels themselves are rattling alot. I dont know what to do to control that. Any ideas?

You talking about where the 6x9's are? If so use dynamat, thats what i did. It sounds better, but i might have to add somemore, i also put some behind the brake light cover and behind my license plate...It wasn't actually dynamat it was somthing else, forgot the name...

Killa, it's the particle board cover that rattles. I put a cpl layers of Raamat on it and sandwiched a sheet of foam (thick towels will work too) between the cover and the metal deck.

Another source of rattling in that area is the third brake light cover. It rattles against the rear glass.

one way to solve it (what I did before I got my spoiler and removed my third brake light) was get a piece of hard foam, cut it out into kind of a wedge, wrapped it in electrical tape it isn't noticeable against the tinted glass, and wedged it between the rear windshield and the top of the third brake light....

even tho I have raammat installed on my rear deck, it still rattled, and this fixed both the third brake light from rattling anymore, and also stopped the particle board from rattling....

now that I've removed my third brake light, the board has started rattling again and its pissing me off, but I haven't had the time to take care of it yet

Yea, i have a feeling thats going to be an ongoing problem. Maybe I should use some of that spray foam that I saw in Home Depot. I used black rubber weatherstrip for the third brake light cover and that helped but its definitely the board that rattles. For now, I guess towels will have to do.

Not a bad idea, I'm assuming I can pick that up at any carpet store?
