if i get this 200 amp alt do i still need a five farad capacitor. Also if i get the alt, and the amp still goes into protect, i guess we can all agree that the problem is the amp, right?

Capacitors cannot charge to a higher voltage than is available so they can't really help an over-taxed charging system. You would be better off investing your money elsewhere. All energy to move a speaker ultimately comes from the alternator...There's no such thing as a free lunch!
i'll be crazy to add another amp, this is to loud and my NF( bass adjustment on kenwood amps) is only on -13 but it can go up to positive 15 and my remote is on max, and this is to loud. so imagine if i get the new alt and put the nf on +15, i might blow my winshield..
