Car Alarm/Keyless Entry Remote
I got an aftermarket car alarm/keyless entry for my sienna... for about... 4 years now... Not too sure what company it is.. but on the remote it says harada.. dunno if that is just the company that made the remote or the system.. anyway... the remote is starting to go whack. sometimes, the the red light which indicates a button is pressed would flash like crazy and the car would keep locking/unlocking and the alarm would keep going off... At first I thought it was just sticky. so i took it apart and cleaned it up. I also changed the battery... but the remote still goes whack... so for now, i just don't use it and took out the battery... any ideas for a fix? do i need a new remote? actually.. would just any new remote even work?
