I now have an x-runner and was wondering what would be the best setup for the interior layout of this truck. I don't care about the back seats, so the room back there is open for subs and amps. Im planning on two Image Dynamics IDMAX and either Image Dynamics horns and midbass's or the CDT HD or Eurosport components.

No budget really, I am just trying to get some ideas on an enclosure design for the rear. Using two amps and two IDMAX's. I'll take a pic of the backseat area later tonight to help with ideas. Anyone know where the best place to buy cdt stuff online from an authorized dealer?
Well if have room for ported, definitely run each sub at 2.5 slot ported tuned to 28Hz, run about 700-800 watts on each one, amp suggestion Hammer, Zapco 9.0, part of Tru T03 series or C7's. A pair of Arc 2500 would sound sweet! for fronts well Morels or DLS would be my pics, if you have room for 8's put them in and go 3 way. HU would be a Pioneer P9 combo.

Not yet. Check it out I ran into one of the research and development guys for fujitsu-ten's Eclipse division, over here at the dealership. He can get me really good deals straight from the factory. he said I should wait til April of 05 to get my avn2454/2494, they're "remodeling it" for better voltage outputs. So I'll be running either of those, and maybe all eclipse products all the way around...
2 10s should fit nicely in that storage compartment since it's a new car, I'd say fiberglassing is worthwhile. Should be able to fit an amp or two down there. All the stuff in the storage compartment can be relocated to the truck bed or something.

I was thinking of removing both those back seat bottom cushions as well as the cover for the storage area. Then fiberglassing an enclosure that will point the subs at a 45 degree angle up. I'll be using two Image Dynamics IDMAX's. Then using that back cushion as the amp rack, taking out the cusions themselves and putting amps there with a plexiglass cover. And try to put some cooling fans in there. The storage compartments are only good for air space. They are no wider than 6 inches.
Ok I figure I'm just going make a box out of MDF and carpet it instead of the fiberglass route. I plan on keeping the rear seat folded over to make room for the box.
I want to be able to recline the seat all the way back. I figure I'll mount the subs pointing up at a 45 degree angle and it will be flush with the back of the seat when I recline.
