Max Watt drain for Highlander?

Hello all-

I'm looking to set up an A/C powered LCD monitor and laptop with DVD player in my highlander. Yesterday, I purchased a 400watt inverter from Best Buy. Is this going to be enough to run the monitor and laptop ? (and perhaps occassionally x-box)

What is the max draw people would recommend before I start worrying about draining the battery while driving-- i.e. does anyone know the alternator output on this vehicle?

thanks
frank

it will be fine. 400w isnt that much... not sure how efficient those inverters are but you could probably run about 1200w on your factory electrical system, if not, you could always upgrade your alt to the 140 amp one for towing
