In most cars there is already a hole running through the firewall.... Look near the gas pedal. The radio and all your other interior power wires will be running through it...

I ran my 4 gauge through the existing grommet on the passenger side of the firewall. It's at the top of the firewall with an accordian looking boot over the wires. From what I hear the Camry is a similar setup as the Avalon.

Thats where the engine wiring harness goes thru.

I ran mine thru a grommet hidden behind the drivers side fender liner.

Drivers side strut tower, but I have a circuit breaker instead of a fuse holder.

There should be a hole between the firewall and sturt tower. It go into fender and if you remove the plastic cover around the wheel well, you can see there are holes going into the cabinet. Same thing on both sides.

I have a gen 2 Camry.

Did you remove the front drivers side fender/wheel well liner?

The grommet in my picture is not in the engine bay.

through the grommet by the steering column...just gotta make sure that it won't get tangled. Also...the fuse should be within 18"s of the battery, I did mine on the side of a fuseholder....works for me

Remember to be keepin that high power cable far from the low power pre-out lines, you can get some nasty sound interference that way.
