deck wiring

just a quick question

if i'm wiring up a new deck and i wire the speaker + & - and then decide that I want to use amps to the speakers. Will it matter to the deck if the + & - wires are still hooked up while the front and rear preouts are hooked up or with I have to cut the + & - going to the harness?

Use one or the other, but not both (speaker outputs & pre-out).

If your going to use a amp, use the pre-outs on the deck. Disconnect the speaker outputs either at the deck or at the speakers.

Then run wiring from the amp to the speakers.
