Dual subwoofers-in-a-box

http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage....product&cmp=++

What do you guys think of these? They sure look like a deal. I'm kinda tight for money, and I know I'll need a pretty good amp for these, but I mean come on 2 12" subs, in a coolio box for $150? Basically, my question is: is Dual any good?

yes...because the acoustics of the box was made for running two subs...now if you just cut a hole in a box to shove another sub in, it's a differente story....

What are you talking about, cutting a hole in a box??

I was just asking if I should buy these or not and what amp to get with them.

They're pretty decent, I have them in my trunk.. click the link below. I originally bought it thinking it was just a box... not knowing that there were subs included. Just open the box carefully, if you don't like how they perform, pack em up and return them.

Cool man, just what I wanted to hear. What amp are you running with them?

Edit: Nvm, I see you have no amp yet.

I do I just have'nt updated that page in a while. I have a Kenwood 7201 which pushes out 460watts RMS.. so it's not pushing the subs as hard as they can go really...

THOSE ARE THE WORST SUBS AT BESTBUY

The box leaks like a mother and the sub wattage ratings are overrated. They sound like feces also.

Dont buy that junk, buy a Shiva for 125.00 and build your own enclosure, will blow away that junk box sub combo.

Go to Circuit City and get the Verge Mono amp for $80 with 2 free verge subs... You could do either the 12s or the 10s but for the 12s I think you have to pay an extra $5 a piece.

Granted, this isn't great equipment but for the money you certainly can't complain.

Quoting myself.... I know there are better out there... I thought it was just a box.. I had some marginally "better" subs to go in the box.. until I found out they came with it... Just read it again
