'03 4Runner SR5 with iPod

I have a '03 4Runner with a stock am/fm/cassette/cd headunit.

I was interested in putting in a 6 CD Changer, but thought that it would be better to hook up an iPod instead.

Can anyone recommend a good am/fm/cd headunit with RCA support or direct support for an iPod?

Alpine is a good choice when using an ipod.

Cool

you can also get ipod audio to the factory radio for less with the auxiliary input option... those ipod2car adapters are expensive and do very little in terms of control and functionality.. (track up, down, etc, basic stuff)

If you would like to keep your stock deck you can use something that hooks to your cd changer port. I got the neo ion and that's what it does. I got it from www.mp3yourcar.com Basically you want to use an adapter that makes a direct connection like the neo ion. Stay away from FM modulators “they sound bad” and other cheaply made alternatives. I am really happy with the one I got and might get one for my girlfriend as an Xmas present.

The h/u I have is the factory installed single-CD/am/fm/tape. Does the single-cd unti have the CD-Changer port?
