hello people do u think car alarms are a necessary thing for cars
ihave 2005 toyota corolla
do u think i need a car alarm

or r they a bigwaste of money and lots of stupid noise?

i wouldnt have a car without a car alarm, but part of that is because I know people that would love to mess with my car if they had the chance. my understanding about canada is that theft and robbery is so low that people leave their house unlocked most of the time. i dont know if thats true or not, and i dont know how big of an issue that is where youre from, but i know that i wouldnt have a car without a reliable alarm

Definately an American....lol jj....I wouldnt leave my vehicles and/or my house unlocked for a minute....but as for an alarm, if you never leave anything of value in your car then it is a waist of money....If you do get one, get it installed properly and have the shock sensors turned down and I would recommend a glass breakage sensor...and probably a 2-way paging system aswell. imho - go all out or go home
