Hi All, Could any of you fine folks email me a wiring diagram for the installation on the title? I have a tech at Best Buy pulling his hair out. the brand of install is a Viper. really appreciate it!!! bml

imho this tech needs to get a new job....no wonder he works at best buy....tell him to be a smart tech and check the wiring diagram online which ALL best buy techs have access too.

thanks for the feedback Hatch--I don't think this guy is very experienced--claimed to be having a hard time getting the 2005 rav4 wiring diagram--would you have that info so I could pass it on? Thanks

Notes:
NOTE: Some models have an immobilizer system that needs to be bypassed during remote start. Use DEI module 555F or 555U to bypass. *1 Unlock requires a double pulse. *2 The individual door trigger wires are at the passenger side junction box behind the glove box. The driver door trigger is red/yellow in a 10 pin plug in pin 3, the front passenger door is red/white in a 20 pin plug in pin 5, and the rear doors and hatch is red/white in a 10 pin plug in pin 2. *3 The data link connector is below the driver side fusebox. The tach wire is the black wire in pin 9.

I concur with Hatch. DO NOT go to that BB installer EVER...moron...

Does he even know how to wire up the transponder bypass? Does he even have a MECP certification? Any reputable place should have the wiring information, which is given below.

12volts white and black/red + ignition harness
Starter red + ignition harness
Second Starter N/A
Ignition black + ignition harness
Second Ignition black/yellow + ignition harness
Third Ignition N/A
Accessory blue/red + ignition harness
Second Accessory N/A
Keysense
Power Lock blue/orange - DKP, 14 pin plug in pin 6
Power Unlock blue/yellow (double pulse) - DKP, 14 pin plug in pin 13
