Amp - American Legacy LA960 1200w max

Anybody know the rms on this thing? I got that powering two 10" 600 w maxQ power subs, in a bandpass plexiglass box. I'm missing two screws on the plexiglass cover so their is an air leak. How much does an air leak worsen the sound/loudness of subs? Just tryin to guesstimate b4 I go out to the 24hour walmart to get some screws tonite?

You need to make sure that plexiglass is secured properly. Air leaks are not good for sound or the subs, especially in a bandpass box. With air leaks, you are defeating the purpose of a box and the subs may "think" they're not working properly, so they could over work, even though I don't think that flea market type amp will give you any real power.

another bit of info....The amp specs says "2 Ohm Stereo Stable
Bridgeable into 4 Ohms" I have two 4ohm woofers... How would that work? Do I have to bridge it since speakers are 4ohm?

2-ohm stereo is equivalent to 4-ohm mono, so you'll have to wire up the subs so the amp will see a 4-ohm mono (bridged) load. Otherwise, the amp will overheat, shut down, and potentially get damaged. If your speakers are 4-ohm each, you can hook it up in a parallel fashion, but that would be a 2-ohm mono, or 1-ohm stereo, which IS NOT good for the amp if it can't handle that load. You'll be damaging the transistors and popping fuses. Either get some subs that are 4-ohm DVC or 8-ohm SVC if you plan on using that amp. Or, you can just hook up each sub to each channel for a "stereo" effect.

Run your subs in Series for an 8 ohm load, that is all you can do, unless you want to invest on some new subs or amp
