clarion vs alpine

I currently have a clarion drx9575zr with the dph7500z processor and I am thinking about swapping it for the alpine pxa-h700. does anyone know both of these setups. how will thy compare? does the clarion do anything better than the alpine or is it just much better? thanks

your talking only processors or the whole package. I here great things about that clarion, if you sell it, let me know. I dont know much about the 7500z processor, but I love the PXA, that thing has many bells and whistles.

i was looking to the whole package...but I think I might reconsider, I was really liking the 30 band p eq on the alpine, but I could just add an eq for a lot less. personally, I love the clarion, i have no complaints about it, I just wanted more (I think that's always my problem). I am going to see about the new alpine 701, hopefully that will allow the older 700 to be had for less.
Either way, I'd strongly recommend you look into the 9575 + 7500 combo. I found them used on ebay for under 250 to think what I paid four years ago. oh well, the product rocks and continues to do so long after it's warrenty expired.
