Need help on tv antenna

Hi guys, I recently purchased this tv antenna
tv antenna

and I hooked it up to my caska 1601. I have no reception. I might get like a faded image but sound or clear pictures from it. Do you guys ahve any suggestions on what I need to do or get a better antenna? I heard that if your get an amplified antenna you'll get better reception. If anyone has a tv tuner in their car with a good antenna, tell me what it is please. Thanks!

the possibilities could be endless as to why you get terrible reception. If you have metalic window tint on your car or if it was jsut a crapy antenea off of ebay. I would try getting an external mounted antena from companies like terk.

The only real antenna that can receive TV channels are the ones you see on the back of stretched limos, costing like $300. It doesn't matter if you get an amplifier if it can't receive the channels clearly in the first place, instead, you'll be amplifying the noise also. Cars have too much electrical interference within itself, the entire sheet metal acts like a conductor. Added with the large bandwidth that video needs, there isn't a cheap way to get broadcast TV channels. Don't even bother.
