Question RAV4 Ipod

Hey guys. I drive a 2004 RAV4 1.8. My query is that i recently purchased a 3g 30gb ipod. I'm using Griffins Itrip to transmit my music to my fm stereo in the RAV. Problem is sound is only so so, not great at all. You can buy kits that plug directly into an aux slot if your headunit has one. So im just wondering has anyone out there using their ipod in their RAV this way? Is there an aux slot in my headunit and if so is easily accessable to get at, or must i remove the headunit to get at it? Thanks. Republic of Ireland here

I bought the neo ion from www.mp3yourcar.com and it makes a direct connection. It plugs into the cd changer port on the back of the deck and the result is cd quality sound. Your right in saying that fm modulators are so so and if your in an urban area they work worse. I really like the adapter I got and it also charges the iPod.
