the cheapest alpine on the market right now is the APN-CDA9821. It has subwoofer level control, MX option, DEPT option, Pause/Play button, and CD/Song Title option. Pioneer has none of those.

Do you honestly feel you know enough about car audio to give advice?

I'm not acting like a little bitch, I'm just saying do you honestly feel you know enough about car audio to be giving people advice on how to spend hundreds of dollars? It's a simple question.

alpines are more expensive, but even the cheapest alpines have more features and imho sound better than the most expensive pioneer
Obviously this is an opinion since you said "imho" so technically I can't prove you wrong other than the fact that it's absurd and flat out wrong to say that the cheapest Alpine has more features than the most expensive Pioneer. It is also absurd to say that the cheapest Alpine sounds better than the most expensive Pioneer. This either means you have never heard a Pioneer head unit that didn't come from Walmart or you've never compared the two brands on the same system. Just because of the three systems you've heard in your life the ones running off an Alpine deck sounded better doesn't mean the deck itself sounds better than a Pioneer. In fact, judging from what you've stated in this thread I'd be willing to bet you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the two.

I've heard Pioneer and Alpine, although the way from the cheapest they offer to the most expensive. I've compared the two brands with the same speakers and same setup, as well as on other speakers. As I believe I stated in my first thread, I have had an Alpine and a Pioneer, and they were both in the same price range, so im not the cheapest pioneer for my comparisons. I have been happier with Alpine. I like the sound better from the Alpine radios. Thats my opinion. And as far as features go, I have found many features on the Alpine that I love so much more than what the Pioneers have. Pioneers like nicer and have nicer displays, thats for sure, but as far as sound quality, i prefer Alpine.

Try me.
Look I'm not going to get into a pissing match with you. Just please don't make false claims on a forum that people come to looking for help. If you know as much as you claim to know about car audio you'd know that this:

is completely false and a figment of your imagination. Please have respect for those posting here looking for advice by providing accurate information. Giving your opinion is one thing, but posting something like the above is stupid and goes against the purpose of having such a forum.
Allow me to rephrase then: Pioneers have lower starting prices than Alpines.
This is true. Pioneer caters to people on all budgets and has a very large line of equipment. They have entry-level, mid-range decks, and competition decks. Alpine does not cater to the entry-level market in the way that Pioneer does when it comes to decks.
