Question head unit screen wont light....

hey i need help with my Sony head unit -CDX 1300- the screen that shows the track number and time can not be seen anymore... need help thank you

It sounds like the LCD display is on the edge of burning out. There is no cheap fix for it. You might as well get a new headunit.

You could send it to Sony, but the cost to fix it will be as much, if not more, than a new radio.

Sony car audio products have gone down in reliability over the years. I would get a new radio, something other than Sony.
