Alarm/Remote Start Upgrade

I currently have a seprate Alarm and Remote Start system installed in my car.

I am upgrading it tommorow to a new remote/start lcd alarm combo.

Should I remove all my old wiring somehow?
Or should I use the pre-existing wires and solder them to the new ones?

I have wiring diagrams for the new combo, and old rs & alarm.

thank you

true, and also take a look at which wires the existing alarm is going to. you'll need to find out which wires are which using color codes, but by looking at your existing alarm you can confirm that you're tapping into the right one.
