I would try to contact one of the techs over at Crutchfield. I know there are steering wheel modules out there that work with most GM vehicles, but not too sure if there are some for Hondas. Most of the major audio manufacturers(Alpine, Pioneer, Clarion, etc.) should be a decent overall package to go with.

The steering wheel radio controls are all determined by resistance values when the buttons are pressed. There are IR repeaters that will learn those resistance values which can be mounted near the (assuming) aftermarket headunit that supports a wireless remote. Thus, you'll be able to use the steering wheel controls once you program it. I believe PAC audio makes something like that.
