Corolla remote

Hi, I ordered a new remote for my 2004 corolla and need someone to tell me how to program it. It is identical to one I already have. The one I have has a FCC ID: GQ43VT14T. I've noticed that many other people have the same remote but they all say that they have an alarm with it. I don't have an alarm that I know of. Thank you very much.

Ok, lets see if i remenber how to program the remote.
First step, car is off key out of ignition, driver's door is open
Next stick the key insert, then remove the key in the ignition once. do not turn the key just insert the key
Next close then open the driver's door twice
Insert and remove the key from the ignition again
Clsoe then open the door twice.
Now stick the key in the ignition and leave it in the ignition
Close the driver's door
Now cycle the ignition key on, then off twice, leave the key in the ignition, but in the off position
At this point the door locks will cycle twice on their own
now push the lock and unlock at the same time, followed by pushing one of the buttons, does not matter which one
the locks will cycle again. take the keys out og ignition and test to see if you have been sucessful.
let me know how it worked out or if you need any thing else,
I was a Toyota tech for 18 years.
