98 Avalon cd player installation

I want to install a cd player into my 98 Avalon. I bought the necessary harness/plug needed to install the cd player, but the harness that I bought does not fit into the Avalon. Does anyone know how to install a cd player into this car? I don't know what plug/wires/harnesses etc I need. Any help would be much appreciated.

the harness may not fit to the existing harness that goes behind ur factory radio. you might want to trace back from that harness and youmight see a differ harness(es).

You may have a "Premium Sound" set-up and it may have an amplifier and various extras........?????

The wiring would be quite different in that case.

You have to hardwire entirely to make the aftermarket work, as well as cutting some wires off. And you will lose the rear deck sub.
