is the amp 250 Peak or RMS? and are the subs 300W Peak or RMS? If the subs are 300Watts Peak, then 150 watts to each subs is probably near its continuous power range. like 'thoughthard' said, you can wire them in parallel.

what is the continuous (RMS) wattage for the subs - do you know?

thats a good diagram there - if you wire it up like that (in parallel) you will send 250 watts (peak, of course) to each sub...in other words the amp will act as if theres only each sub, so instead of each sub getting 125 watts, they will each get the full 250 peak

if they were wired in series the subs would split the power, but wired in parallel the subs should not split the power - each sub will get just as much power as if it were the only sub on the amp.

If you have only one speaker, that speaker is carrying the entire power
of the circuit. However, if you have more than one speaker, the load is divided between them. If both speakers have the same resistance (ie, it is equally hard to push
power through them) then each will take half the power.
Correct.

What kind of subs are they. You will probably get better results by going with only one of them at 150 watts RMS
